Sierra Miles

The Playback Procedure.

  • Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. Sierra Miles (the artist) and Gracie Kolb (the creative director and producer for this project) came to Gray with nothing but an idea and a Pinterest mood board. We all had a meeting to discuss their aesthetic desires, mapped out the project timeline, clarified the purpose, and outlined the deliverables. Once we are on the same page, the next step is building this dream.

  • Build it.

This was a two-day shoot in Joshua Tree, CA. We shot during sunrise, sunset, and at various locations. This included behind-the-scenes videos, a stills photographer, stylist, and creative director. We navigated the weather, lighting, and locations as needed to fit the planned shots along with the many run-and-gun ideas that developed along the way.

  • Grow it.

This is where the vision truly comes to life. Partnering closely with Sierra and Gracie, we brought their ideas into reality through post-production, including audio and visual enhancements, finalizing deliverables, and preparing for social media distribution. Sierra now has a rich array of content to curate and showcase, moving beyond a single photo or video post to create a compelling, cohesive aesthetic.

Vertical videos are the new black

-

Consistency is key for social media growth and identity. Just as a horizontal video is important for a website, YouTube, or a theater screen, vertical videos are essential for social media posts nowadays.

Adapting to this format ensures that content is optimized for mobile viewing, where most users interact with social media. By aligning your video strategy with current trends, you can enhance visibility and maintain a strong, cohesive online presence.
